My boyfriend's best friend just got married yesterday. He was the best man and designated driver. So he painted on the windows "Just married" for the day. When he drove back, he has not had time to remove them yet.
My house sign was taken off for a week, because bank would not let me refinance if it is active on the market.
My neighbor across the street walked over today, and brought me 2 beautiful roses (called 'black magic') from their garden. I opened the door, he simply said, " This is from Barbara and me. We wish you the best."
I closed the door and had no idea what it was about... My boyfriend said they must mistakenly thought we were just married. And perhaps they were thinking that was why I was selling the house. Or he might have thought my house was sold and I am moving away soon...

Yes, they are nice folks. Though I did not quite understand ... generation or cultural gap? ha!
