Sat. Brunch with pineapple salad

I got some pineapple at Lucky's for sale price at $2.5 each. Not bad huh?

I decided to make pineapple salad instead of eating it directly. My memories about eating pineapple is it hurts my tongue. I remembered when I was a kid, we ate it with pinch of salt, supposedly to dull the pungency ?

I found cutting pineapple was a lot easier using a serrated knife, as it cuts through the fiber well. Honey mustard salad dressing was used to compliment the sweetness of pineapple. Result was fantastic (Ken's salad dressing was used, as I did not have honey to make a fresh batch.)

As for chip dip, I always made it with various fresh veges, garlic, chili, and chili powder. My boyfriend loved it.

(PS. I made this salad with Marie's Honey Dijon dressing later. Did not like it! Feels like it has too much of salty flavor, even though the bottle is cuter. I will stick to Ken's.)
